Craft & Time
“Where Time Meets Craft”
Shop with Confidence. Straightforward Returns.
At Craft & Time, we want you to feel completely confident with every purchase. While each vintage timepiece is carefully inspected, tested, and serviced as needed before leaving our workshop, we understand that sometimes a return may be necessary. We are committed to a straightforward, transparent, and fair return process.
14-Day Return Period
We offer a 14-day return policy for all our watches and accessories. This period begins on the day your order is delivered (the delivery day counts as Day 1). To be eligible for a refund, you must notify us of your intent to return the item via email within this 14-day window.
Return Conditions & Criteria
To ensure a successful return and a full refund, the following criteria must be met:
-
Watches: The timepiece must be returned in the exact same condition as when it was shipped to you. There must be no signs of wear, additional damage, or any alterations after delivery (including opening the case back, resizing the bracelet, or changing the strap).
-
New Accessories & Straps: Newly manufactured items (such as new leather straps or new watch boxes) must be completely unused, unworn, and in their original packaging. Leather straps must not show any signs of buckling, mounting, or wear.
-
Vintage Accessories: Vintage or used items (such as vintage watch boxes or period-correct buckles) must be returned in the exact same condition as received. No alterations, additional scratches, or chemical cleaning are permitted.
-
Complete Set & Packaging: The item must be returned with all original components included in the sale (e.g., boxes, straps, invoices, or papers) and packed with adequate protection to ensure it is not damaged during transit.
Important Note on Vintage Sizing
Please review the watch description and specifications carefully before purchasing. We include precise measurements for every timepiece. Vintage watches are historically smaller than modern wristwatches, so please ensure the size is appropriate for you before placing an order.
Return Process & Shipping
-
Notification: Please contact us via email (found in our website footer) within 14 days of delivery to initiate a return.
-
Shipping & Costs: The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. As the item remains your responsibility until it safely reaches our workshop, we strictly require using a secured, tracked, and fully insured shipping service.
-
International Returns (Outside the EU): For returns sent from outside the European Union, the sender must clearly mark the package and customs declaration as "Returned Goods - No Commercial Value". Any import duties, clearance fees, or taxes incurred by Craft & Time due to improper labeling will be deducted from the final refund amount.
-
Inspection: Once received, we will perform a professional inspection to confirm the item's condition and eligibility for a refund.
Refunds
Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method within 3–7 business days after the quality inspection is complete.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
-
Items that show signs of wear, usage, damage, or have been altered after delivery.
-
Items where the 14-day notification window has expired.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our passion for horology. Our goal is to ensure your total satisfaction with every timepiece. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Craft & Time
“Where Time Meets Craft”
Warranty Policy
Built on Integrity. Quality Guaranteed.
At Craft & Time, we take pride in the quality of our work and the reliability of the timepieces and accessories we offer. Each vintage watch undergoes a rigorous inspection and professional servicing before being listed. To ensure your absolute peace of mind, we provide transparent warranty terms for all our products from the date of purchase.
1. Vintage Watches: 12-Month Mechanical Warranty
- We provide a 12-month limited mechanical warranty on all vintage wristwatches.
- What is Covered: This warranty strictly covers the internal mechanical parts of the watch movement. If your timepiece experiences a mechanical failure or significant timekeeping issues due to a defect in the movement during the 12-month period, we will repair it at no cost to you.
- What is NOT Covered: Due to the delicate and historic nature of vintage timepieces, this warranty does not cover:
Water Damage: Vintage watches must be kept away from water. We do not guarantee water resistance unless explicitly stated in the item description.
Accidental Damage & Misuse: Issues caused by dropping the watch, impacts, shocks, or improper handling (e.g., a broken balance staff or overwinding).
External Components: Normal wear, scratches, or damage to the crystal (glass), case, crown, buttons, or bracelets occurring after delivery.
Unauthorized Repairs: Any attempt to open the case back or have the watch inspected/serviced by a third party will immediately void this warranty.
Vintage Accuracy: A vintage mechanical watch will not match the precision of a modern quartz clock. While we regulate every watch to its best possible performance, slight daily variations are a natural characteristic of historic movements.
2. New Accessories: 12-Month Manufacturing Warranty
Newly manufactured non-wearable accessories (such as new watch boxes) are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing and material defects (e.g., faulty hinges or structural defects upon delivery).
3. Straps and Vintage Accessories (Exclusions)
Due to the organic and delicate nature of leather, all watch straps (leather, fabric, or rubber) are strictly excluded from this warranty once worn or mounted. Furthermore, all vintage or pre-owned accessories (such as vintage watch boxes or historic buckles) are sold as-is and carry no warranty after delivery.
How to Claim Warranty & Shipping
If you encounter any issues, please contact us via email first. We will guide you through the process.
- Shipping Costs: The buyer is responsible for shipping the item back to our workshop. We strictly require using a secured, tracked, and fully insured shipping service. Once repaired, we will return the timepiece to you at our expense.
- International Shipments (Outside the EU): For warranty returns sent from outside the European Union, the sender must clearly mark the package and customs declaration as "Returned Goods under Warranty - No Commercial Value". Any import duties or taxes incurred by Craft & Time due to improper customs labeling will be charged to the client.
Thank you for your trust and for supporting our passion for horology. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
